There was a particular study that captivated our attention concerning the conspiracy theories and the supernatural events taken claim in our world today: the Skin-walker Ranch, in Ballard, Utah. I sat down and listened to the accounts of such occurrences on this ranch, and was faced with making up my mind what was going on there in the supernatural realm. Well, on my own part, the conclusion came very easily, and let me explain why.
Skin-walkers, as Navajo legends tell, are supposedly witches who take the hides of different animals; and when they wear these hides, they possess the power to become that animal and assume its abilities. I recalled a verse in the Book of Enoch as I translated and keyed it to the Strong’s Concordance:

As we can see, these fallen angels could take on “many forms”, and this word in Greek is “πολυμορφα”, which is to say, “to polymorph”. It is intriguing to find that the term “polymorphing” is well known in different fields of science, including geology and mathematics, wherein something can change itself into many different forms, such as a mineral that can become one of many different kinds of crystals. This is also related in the Zohar:
And how, you may ask, do they transform themselves from the shape of an angel to that of human beings? As we have learned, they can transform themselves into all kinds of shapes, and when they come down into this world, they clothe themselves with the garments of earth’s atmosphere and take on human form.

That being said, the rabbis believed that this “polymorphing” had to do with the flesh with which they clothed themselves when they came to earth. I was reading a portion of the Bereshit Rabbati as well, wherein Rabbi Joseph links how the fallen angels clothed themselves in earthly flesh to the Book of Job:
My flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust; my skin is broken, and become loathsome.

Job mentioned this “clothing” of dust time after time when he spoke to his friends, because he seems to have equated himself with the angels who fell, as is very evident in both the Hebrew and Greek texts, but less so in the English language. This being said, the angels were clothing themselves in some “strange flesh” (Jude 1:6-7), and not only that of humans. The First Epistle to the Corinthians mentions the differences of “flesh”:
All flesh [is] not the same flesh: but [there is] one [kind of] flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, [and] another of birds. [There are] also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial [is] one, and the [glory] of the terrestrial [is] another.

This activity is very evident in the stories of Skin-walker Ranch. The first owners to report their experience on that ranch claimed that some entity, or entities, would frequently torment them in many terrifying forms over the time of their staying, including that of a giant Dire wolf, which has been extinct for thousands of years. One former US Army Colonel, John Alexander, who investigated the paranormal activity on the site, concluded,
“The precognitive sentient phenomena concept suggests that there is some external controlling agent that initiates these events that are observed and reported. It appears as though that agent not only determines all factors of the event, but is already (i.e. precognitively) aware of how the observers or researchers will respond to any given stimuli. The agent can be considered like the Trickster that is always in control of the observations. Every time researchers get close to an understanding of the situation, the parameters are altered or new variables are entered into the equation.”
Both human and non-human tracks were found on the ranch, which would suddenly run cold, as if the creature, whatever it was, dissolved into thin air, or, as I understand it, moved into another plane of reality (which I believe to be one of the many “Heavens” mentioned in the Bible) than our own. Upon closer study of the “skin-walkers” on that ranch, it seems to lean closer and closer to an angelic nature, as these angels seem to “polymorph” into whatever they desire, but for a reason unclear to us… yet.
